ABSTRACT
MASWATI.
Relationship with the teacher performance on the learning achievement of
students of SDN 40 Wakka. (guided by M. Hasyim Kini and M. Yunus Jamadi).
Teacher are key actors in education, because teachers who interact
directly with students. In the learning process, teacher was instrumental in
improving student achievement, especially mastery of teaching materials.
Althought the infrastructure is so complete and sophisticated, but not
supported by the presence of teachers who kompoten and professional, then it is
impossible to run with the maximum education because the teachers is the key
factor for the implementation of national education.
In general, purpose of this study is to know how the relationship with
the teachers performance on the learning achievement of students of SDN 40
Wakka. In this study the authorsuse a quantitative approach to data collection
and in doing research using methods of observation, interviews, and
questionnaires. As for the technical analysis of the data in this study is a
descriptive data analysis techniques were used to analyze the data in a way to
describe or depict the data that has been collected.
The results of this study are as follows : First, the performance of
teachers in Public Elementary School 40 Wakka is one of the factors that led to
success in improving student achievement . From the results of this study ,
researchers found that the performance of teachers in the school still not up
duties and functions as a teacher , especially the communication between
teachers and students that occur in the learning process still fails to
demonstrate an increase in student achievement . If a teacher is able to carry
out its functions and duties , it will produce students who excel so that
educational goals can be achieved in line with expectations . Second , learning
achievement in 40 Wakka Elementary School is one of hope for principals ,
teachers and parents . However , that hope has not been realized due to the
many students who have the lowest average value . Third, the relationship with
the teacher 's performance on the learning achievement of students in the
Elementary School 40 Wakka , still has not achieved the expected results
because of the results of this study, researchers found that the relationship
of teacher performance with an increase in student achievement as very low and
one of the factors that lead to low achievement student learning at the school
that the average value of the results of student report cards is so low that it
indicates that there is a connection with the performance of teachers on
student achievement at the school .
